אני מתמחה בנקודת המפגש בין היסטוריה לספרות בעולם היהודי בעת החדשה המוקדמת. אני מתעניינת בדמיון התרבותי היהודי וביטוייו היצירתיים והנרטיביים, ככלי לבחינת שאלות מתחום ההיסטוריה התרבותית.

עבודתי כעת נוגעת להמשגת מרחבים רחוקים - ומכאן, גבולות המציאות והאפשר - במאה ה-17 וה-18, דרך בחינת ספרות פופולרית לסוגיה.

I specialize in the intersection of history and literature in the early modern Jewish world. In essence, I am interested in Jewish cultural imagination and its expressions in narrative and (quasi-)artistic forms as a medium for answering questions in the realm of cultural history.

My current project focuses on the construction of distant space - and hence, the borders of the possible and the real - in the 17th and 18th century Ashkenazic world, as represented in various genres of popular literature.
